How to choose ultrasonic flowmeter?

The correct selection of the ultrasonic flowmeter often plays an important role in the successful use of the flowmeter. Due to the complexity of the object to be measured and the variety of flowmeters, this makes the selection of the ultrasonic flowmeter somewhat difficult. No flow meter is perfect, all kinds of instruments have their own characteristics, the purpose of selection is to choose the most suitable flow meter key.
General ultrasonic flowmeter selection can be considered from the six aspects of measuring medium, flow rate, fluid characteristics, installation conditions, environmental conditions and economic factors, as follows:
1. Measuring medium: water, sea water, sewage, alcohol, oil, acid-base liquid, etc.;
2. Flow rate: accuracy, repeatability, linearity, measurement range, signal output characteristics, response time and pressure loss;
3. Fluid properties: temperature, pressure, density, viscosity, chemical corrosion, crystallization, single phase, particle content and sound velocity;
4. Installation conditions: pipe material, pipe layout position, fluid direction, length of upstream and downstream straight pipe section, pipe diameter, connection mode (outer clamp type, plug-in type, pipe section type), power supply mode, output mode, etc.
5. Environmental conditions: ambient temperature, humidity, frequency conversion interference, explosion-proof, anti-corrosion, pipeline vibration, etc.;
6. Economic factors: installation fee, operation fee, maintenance fee, maintenance fee and warranty time.
